PODCAST: Episode 140 of "The Cinephile Hissy Fit" Podcast

For their 140th episode, two non-Snyderbro film critics, two sci-fi dads, and two post-Winter Break teachers, Will Johnson and Don Shanahan, head over to Netflix to step in the streaming cowpie that is the latest tentpole from paragon of internet trolls: Zack Snyder. That's right, we're talking about Rebel Moon: Part One - A Child of Fire. We've got a double-hater episode for a candidate for the worst film of 2023.

MEDIA APPEARANCE: Guest on the "You'll Probably Agree" YouTube channel talking about the Snyder Cut

Recenty, I joined Mike Crowley’s You’ll Probably Agree YouTube show to talk about our lingering impressions from Zack Snyder’s Justice League from HBO Max. He and I were both fans of the lengthened and improved movie the director was granted to complete. We haven’t been able to let it go. MOVIE REVIEW: Zack Snyder's Justice League

Give the determined and reinvigorated 300 and Watchmen director four-hours, extra millions, and full creative control and you get this kind of beefy result. MEDIA APPEARANCE: Guest on "Kicking the Seat" podcast talking "Justice League"

MOVIE REVIEW: Wonder Woman

The three-part noun definition of “wonder” can be summarized as “a cause of astonishment, the quality of excited admiration, or rapt attention at something awesomely mysterious or new to one’s experience.”  Used as an adjective in a proper name, the word could not be more fitting of Princess Diana of Themyscira, better known as Wonder Woman.  Whether it represents a cog in a larger universe, a historical watershed for women’s leadership, or the answered prayers of long-suffering fans and idolizing dreamers, Wonder Woman is a valiant, momentous, and satisfying first step fitting of the iconic heroine.
