INFOGRAPHIC: The Next James Bond: Updated Odds for the Next 007 Revealed

ActionNetwork.com has been tracking the odds of who will become the next James Bond for the last four years.
HIGHLIGHTS
According to the latest update, which looks at an average of odds tracked from various bookmakers:
Callum Turner remains the favorite to become the next James Bond, with odds of +146 (implied probability: 40.68%) - the Masters of the Air star reclaimed the top spot after brief challenges from Anthony Boyle and Jacob Elordi in the last few months.
Tom Francis, the Olivier Award-winning star of Sunset Boulevard, sits in second place with odds of +333 to become the next 007 (implied probability: 23.08%) following reports he auditioned for the role.
Louis Partridge rounds out the top three with odds of +455 to claim the Bond role (implied probability: 18%). If cast, the Enola Holmes and House of Guinness actor would become the youngest Bond ever.
Rounding out the top 5 are Harris Dickinson (Bond odds: +500, implied probability: 16.67%), currently filming Sam Mendes' Beatles biopics, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Bond odds: +567, implied probability: 15%), the BAFTA-winning star of Nocturnal Animals.
The rest of the top 10 contenders includes Jack Lowden (Slow Horses), Jacob Elordi (Euphoria), Arty Froushan (House of the Dragon), Dónal Finn (The Wheel of Time), and Leo Suter (Vikings: Valhalla).
ActionNetwork.com’s spokesperson comments: "We have been tracking James Bond odds from various bookmakers for the last 4 years, and the race to become 007 has gone through several favorites, from Regé-Jean Page to Henry Cavill to Theo James and others. It has been more than five years since the last Bond film, so it is surprising a new Bond has not been named yet - a delay likely tied to the major changes the franchise has undergone, including Amazon's widely-reported buyout from the previous producers.
Allegedly, Bond auditions have already begun, with the next round of shortlisted actors expected to continue auditioning in August, as the studio reportedly wants an actor locked in by the end of the year to start production in 2027. Some of the old casting criteria - a British actor in his twenties - may no longer apply, but the search for someone with that essential Bond enigma remains, and the names currently in contention are said to be a mix of unknowns and established stars.
According to an average of various bookmakers' odds, the favorite remains Callum Turner. He first reached the No. 1 spot in our tracking back in September of last year, and although he has been briefly overtaken since by both Anthony Boyle and Jacob Elordi, he is currently sitting firmly back on top with odds of +146 to become the next Bond. Turner isn't yet a bona fide Hollywood leading man, but that may actually work in his favor for the role of 007. He is currently filming the Possession remake alongside Margaret Qualley, and as far as we know, he is not tied to any major franchises, which would potentially leave him free for a future Bond commitment.
In second place is a far less familiar name, Tom Francis, with odds of +333 to become the next Bond. Francis only entered our odds tracking after it was leaked that he had auditioned for the role of Bond. Francis recently won an Olivier Award for his performance in Sunset Boulevard, and theater actors are reportedly being actively sought out by the casting director and the producers for their fresh-face appeal - it shouldn't be forgotten that Daniel Craig's pre-Bond stage career is said to have helped him land the role in the first place.
Sitting at No. 3 is Louis Partridge, with odds of +455 to become the next 007. Partridge has appeared in all three Enola Holmes films and, most recently, in House of Guinness, but he's still quite young, and casting him would make him the youngest Bond ever - so it really comes down to Amazon's vision for the character and whether they are willing to go in that direction.
Rounding out the top five are Harris Dickinson and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, with odds of +500 and +567, respectively. Dickinson's name has been in our tracking since 2023 and even reached the No. 2 spot earlier this year, but he appears to be quite busy at the moment, filming Sam Mendes' Beatles biopics, in which he will play John Lennon. Taylor-Johnson, meanwhile, held the No. 1 spot in our odds tracking for the longest stretch of anyone and seemed close to landing the James Bond role outright before the production shake-up threw everything back into uncertainty.
Still, it is worth remembering that when Daniel Craig was first cast, it came as a genuine surprise - he was not one of the top rumored names at the time either. So for now, it really is anyone's game."
