MEDIA APPEARANCE: Guest on the "CinemaJaw" podcast #315

This past week, I was honored to be a guest on the CinemaJaw podcast, hosted by "Matt K." and "Ry the Movie Guy" and ran by the "Best in the Biz."  Since 2009, the Chicago-based trio of Matt Kubinski, Ryan Jagiello, and engineer Eliaz Gonzalez have put together one of the best and entertaining movie podcasts in this or any city.  The Chicago Independent Film Critics Circle is lucky to count the CinemaJaw team as members.  I'm a big fan of their work and you should be too.

On Episode #315, we split review duties to cover new releases "Get Out" and "Logan."  With the final Wolverine film in mind, Matt, Ryan, and I named our Top 5 fatherhood films.  In their other signature segments, I leaned on my teacher expertise to judge their "CinemaWAR" bout between Edward James Olmos of "Stand and Deliver" and Michelle Pfeiffer of "Dangerous Minds" as the better movie teacher.  We also played "Ignore or Interested" to talk about the advance buzz of "Kong: Skull Island."

It was a boisterous and packed 103 minutes and I was ecstatic to be a part of it.
